Attempted Robbery at Sea Cliff Store

Nassau County Police are investigating an incident that occurred on Wednesday, April 24th at 6:40 PM in Sea Cliff.
According to police, an unknown male entered Dreams East Antique’s Store located at 359 Sea Cliff Avenue and demanded the employee give him money from the register. After the victim refused, the subject walked out of the store without any proceeds and was last seen heading west bound on Sea Cliff Ave. The uninjured female victim further described the subject as 6’0” tall wearing a black ski mask, black gloves, light gray hooded sweatshirt, and blue jeans.
Detectives request anyone with information regarding the above incident to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
