Fentanyl Dealer Caught

An accused fentanyl dealer was caught after a foot chase in Glen Cove, according to police.

Police began an investigation into a non-fatal drug overdose on Thursday, July 12th, according to the Glen Cove Police Department.

Detectives suspected the pills purchased by the victim most likely contained the potent drug fentanyl, which has caused many of the recent fatal overdoses on Long Island, said police.

During the investigation, a quantity of Oxycodone pills was allegedly purchased from a Glen Cove resident, according to police

Those pills were subsequently tested and reportedly found to contain fentanyl, said the Glen Cove Police Department.

On Wednesday, Aug. 7th, Glen Cove Police detectives located the alleged defendant and caught him after a brief foot chase, police said.

Adrian Seubarran, 25, of Glen Cove, was charged with third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and violation of parole, according to Glen Cove Police.

He was arraigned on Thursday, Aug. 8th, at First District Court in Hempstead and held on $250,000 cash bail.

“The Glen Cove Police department is committed to identifying, locating and arresting those who choose to sell illegal drugs to the Glen Cove community.
