Sexually Abused a Child in Northport

Charles Titone III, 46, of Huntington Station and a school bus driver of the Northport-East Northport School District was arrested December 3rd for sexually abusing a child and possessing child pornography.

The Suffolk County Computer Crimes Unit, and police from the Second Precinct Crime Section received a tip from the NY State Internet Crimes against Children Task Force, and started investigating Titone.

After obtaining a warrant the police went to search Titone’s home at 250 Depot Rd at 7:30 AM. Titone had child pornography on his phone and also had sexual contact with a 6-year-old according to authorities. Titone worked for Huntington Coach Corp. Titone knew the victim and the victim was not a student on his bus route.

Titone is charged with first-degree sexual abuse (a D felony) and possessing a sexual pornography performance by a child (an E felony). He was held overnight at the Second Precinct and was scheduled to be arraigned on December 4th at First District Court in Central Islip.
