Drugs, Assault Arrest in Huntington

Police in Huntington arrested 35-year-old Hughlands Watson of Brentwood, after he assaulted a local resident, and threatened to "beat him up." Watson had illegal drugs in his possession and was also charged with narcotics posession.
The assault by Watson occurred on Third Avenue in Huntington Station, at 6:49 PM on September 8th.
Watson claims to reside in Brentwood, and had no legal purpose for being in Huntington. Watson was in possession of a "vape pen" which is often used to smoke drugs. Watson was charged with criminal menacing and criminal possession of a controlled substance.
