Blakeman: No Forced Child Mask or Vax Mandates

By Niall Fitzgerald

Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman issued three Executive Orders last week ending the forced masking of school children, and the forced Covid vaccine mandates, for all schools and businesses within Nassau County.

Blakeman’s Order was welcomed by Long Island parents who have seen their children’s lives destroyed by two years of forced masking and “virtual” school instruction.

“I am so proud of our new County Executive for standing up for thousands of children being abused by the mask mandate,” said Cathie Guggliucci, an Old Brookville mom who has led the effort to repeal forced child mask mandates. “Mask mandates are physically and mentally harming children. They are a form of child abuse.”

Scientific and medical data show that school children are at minimal risk from Covid – and that child deaths from adverse reactions to the Covid vaccines exceed child deaths from Covid. In addition, the adverse health effects from masking children has caused an increase in respiratory illnesses, social and mental health issues, and an explosion of teen drug abuse and overdose deaths. Over 100,000 Americans died from drug overdoses in 2021.

“School boards are composed of elected officials who make decisions based upon the unique circumstances of each district,” stated Blakeman. “They are in the best position to make these decisions, not an autocracy in Albany.”

Over 20,000 people have been fired locally from their jobs because of forced vaccine mandates. This despite the obvious dangers from a vaccine that – according to the CDC – has killed over 12,000 people from “adverse vaccine reactions” and caused over 900,000 non-fatal adverse vaccine reactions, including myocarditis and congestive heart failure.

New York’s Governor Kathy Hochul (D) – who was behind the forced masking of schoolchildren - promised to oppose Blakeman’s Order. Hochul was former Governor Andrew Cuomo’s Lt. Governor, but took-over in August when Cuomo was forced-out over their administration’s nursing home policies that killed 15,000 New York seniors.

Hochul – in a ploy to court the state’s powerful teachers unions - reversed Cuomo’s “parents’ choice” Order and instead ordered the forcible masking of New York schoolchildren. Many children are now being forcibly masked 10 hours a day, five days a week. Hochul is facing a hotly contested Democratic primary in June, against NYC Public Advocate Jumaane Williams and US Congressman Tom Suozzi (D-Glen Cove).

Blakeman also announced that Nassau County will be distributing free Covid-19 testing kits at Eisenhower Park and Tobay Beach.
