“Deck the Halls” at Historic Christmas Festival at Planting Fields

Planting Fields Arboretum will be festooned with lights and decorations for the holiday season, as its Foundation will be hosting a spectacular “Deck the Halls” event at the arboretum’s stately and historic Coe Hall.


The event will be held on Saturday evening, December 7th, and tickets are going fast..

 

For over 40 years, Deck the Halls has provided critical support to Planting Fields Foundation, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit that partners with New York State Parks to steward Planting Fields.

 

Coe Hall is one of the largest extant Olmsted Brothers landscape and residential designs, a historic mansion with beautiful gardens featuring a 409-acre Olmsted Brothers-designed landscape.

 

“Please join us this holiday season as Coe Hall transforms into a magical winter wonderland, “ stated Co-Chairs Aileen Gumprecht, Milena Holmes, Fifi Leachman, and Susan Moore. “Enjoy delicious food, festive cocktails, good company, and various ways to win prizes and support our beloved Planting Fields,”

         

For “Deck the Halls,” guests visiting Coe Hall will be transported back in time to enjoy cocktails and dinner in the iconic holiday setting.


The Planting Fields Foundation is a not-for-profit of which strives to make relevant to all audiences the heritage of Planting Fields through ongoing landscape and architectural preservation, education programs, exhibitions, and community engagement.
