This week saw a daring nighttime raid by US special forces into the heart of Caracas, Venezuela, and the swift capture and arrest of dictator Nicolas Maduro.
Â
Maduro was a monster - a kleptocratic, torturing and murdering thug who stole Venezuela's oil wealth while starving its children of food and medicines. All while proclaiming himself a "socialist" champion, and arming guerillas and drug gangs to threaten his neighbors.
Â
President Donald Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio deserve full credit for actually doing what their predecessors talked about - but did nothing to accomplish - all with no loss of American life.
Â
Former President Joe Biden had an arrest warrant out for Maduro for 4 years - and even posted a $25 million bounty - but then did nothing.
Â

After 25 years of the "Bolivarian Socialist Revolution" Venezuela is a ruined land of suffering, shortages and poverty. A disaster.
Â
The domestic reaction inside America is all too predictable:Â
Â
Too many Democrats have reflexively condemned Trump and the United States, rather than praise the successful military raid - that removed a bloody anti-American dictator;
Â
Large "pro-Maduro" rallies in America's cities are organized by far-left front groups, well-funded by the Chinese communist and Russian governments - and feature almost no actual Venezuelans.
Â
A spontaneous protest celebration in New York by actual Venezuelans - celebrating the removal of the hated dictator who ruined so many of their lives (driving nearly 9 million people - 1/3 of Venezuela's population - out as refugees) was violently confronted by a well organized crowd of paid professional leftists - most of whom couldn't even speak Spanish.
Â
The Leader applauds and thanks President Donald Trump, Secretary Marco Rubio and the US military for a job well done. Freedom and human rights are a lot stronger today thanks to their removal of the dictator Maduro.
