Editorial: Why Don't the Democrats Expel Lunatics Like DeLauro, Tlaib and Omar

Following the 2022 elections, when it first became clear that newly-elected Congressman-elect George Santos was a fraud, pathological liar and a nut, Republican leaders moved fast to have him expelled.  An Ethics Complaint was filed; an investigation launched; a Report finding him '"Guilty" was issued; and Santos was expelled from the US Congress.

Why ? - Because it destroys the credibility of all members - and the US Congress itself - to have a scammer and criminal serving next to you.

Last week saw a disgusting spectacle in the US Congress:  Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Director Lee Zeldin appeared before the House Appropriations Committee and was immediately attacked by US Rep. Rosa DeLauro (D-CT).

The 83-year-old DeLauro - looking insane with her hair dyed a bright blue - attacked Zeldin like a lunatic.

Zeldin calmly explained several recent US Supreme Court cases that refused to extend the 1963 Clean Air Act to allow "climate change" regulations - something the Act was never meant to do.

An enraged DeLauro insulted Zeldin, calling him a "climate denier" and admitting she had "never heard of" the US Supreme Court cases that govern US environmental law. 

She told Zeldin, "I don’t have to listen to this BS,” to which Zeldin asked her “BS? You think I made up these cases?”

As she became more agitated and unstable, a demented DeLauro demanded of Zeldin, "Maybe you should try" drinking a glass of lethal pesticide...

DeLauro is clearly unfit to serve in the US Congress.  Yet there is no move from Democrats to expel her.

Even worse are the constant embarrassments from US Reps Ilhan Omar (D-MN) and Rashida Tlaib (D-MI): Both are unhinged open anti-Semites who applauded the October 7, 2023 Hamas terrorist attack, murder and gang rape of 1,200 innocent civilians in Israel.  

Both conducted themselves like shrieking teenagers - screaming insults out loud - at this year's State of the Union. 

Omar has been tied to massive corruption in Minnesota, and both are national security threats in the US Congress. Yet not one Democrat has had the courage - or integrity - to move for their expulsion.

The Democrats' attacks on Donald Trump have no credibility, so long as the likes of Omar, Tlaib and DeLauro continue to sit in Congress.

It's time for the Democrats to do what the Republicans did with Santos - and begin to clean their own house.
