Endorsement: Jake Blumencranz for NYS Senate

The open NYS Senate election in the north shore 7th Senate District (North Hempstead and northern Oyster Bay) has attracted two experienced candidates. But that’s where the similarity ends:

Jake Blumencranz is the current Assemblyman from northern Oyster Bay.  A moderate Republican, who grew-up locally, he has served since 2022, and earned a bipartisan record of building bridges and getting things done. He stands for lower taxes, making our lives affordable and safe.

The Democrat, Rory Lancman, is the opposite. He is a former New York City Councilman, and Assemblyman - from Queens.

Landsman has a radical record - calling for “defund the police” and a hard left agenda. He left the City - and moved to re-launch his political career in Nassau - after losing primary races to other Democrats in the City.

Lancman is a NYC carpetbagger - who would bring a radical agenda - and hard-left NYC politics to the north shore.
