Endorsement: Joe Saladino for Oyster Bay Town Supervisor

Supervisor Joe Saladino and his team on the Oyster Bay Town Board -have done great things - once thought to be impossible. He has cut taxes or frozen taxes every year he has been Supervisor - while providing better outstanding services to residents.

Saladino has launched bold initiatives - like the Hicksville Renaissance to clean up a scruffy and blighted downtown and turn it into an attractive shopping and entertainment hub - while having the good government patience and integrity to make sure it is done right - for our residents.

Saladino built the now world-famous Oyster hatcheries and a growing shellfish seeding program that puts millions of shellfish into our bays - and filters our harbors fresh.  It is no accident that the US EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin came to Oyster Bay to praise Saladino's hatchery program.

Joe Saladino and his team show what competent good government looks like. It doesn't come easily or naturally (just look at the shambles of Huntington next door) - but Saladino has run the best town government on Long Island.

The Leader endorses Joe Saladino for Oyster Bay Supervisor.
