Endorsement: Paolo Pironi for NYS Assembly

With Assemblyman Jake Blumencranz running for the open NYS Senate seat in Oyster Bay and North Hempstead, the Assembly seat is open, and a heroic local firefighter, Paolo Pironi has stood up to run for the seat.

Pironi pledges to make Long Island more affordable, by working to lower taxes, controlling NYS runaway spending, and fighting the out of control costs of local utilities - electricity and water.

He is the only candidate in the race backed by all Nassau county law enforcement groups - the PBA, Detectives and Superior officers - and pledges to ensure Long Island families feel secure in their homes and neighborhoods.

Pironi is backed by the New York league of conservation voters, supports open-space preservation, clean water initiatives, and responsible development that safeguards our environment.

Pironi's opponent is a non-serious, marginal candidate.
