Stephanie Bontempi was elected to the Suffolk Legislature four years ago - and has distinguished herself as a conscientious and hard-working public servant.

Bontempi spent her earlier career as a school teacher and administrator - teaching most recently at the Green Vale School in Old Brookville.

She has distinguished herself in the Suffolk Legislature working on environmental issues, supporting the local small business community and protecting women's rights.

Bontempi represents the north shore 18th District, which includes Cold Spring Harbor, Lloyd Harbor, downtown Huntington, Centerport, Northport and parts of East Northport.
