Glen Cove to Hoist "Sip Into Summer"

The City of Glen Cove is kicking off summer with a brand new “Sip Into Summer” festival set for Friday, June 3 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the city’s Ferry Terminal at Garvies Point.

The event will feature food, drinks, raffles and kids entertainment. Funds raised will benefit future Glen Cove quality-of-life programs and special events for the benefit of city residents.

“I am so grateful for the passion and enthusiasm to bring exciting new programs to our community,” said Glen Cove Mayor Pamela Panzenbeck. “Sip into Summer is our first 2022 event with food trucks, music and fun.

"There will be a great Vintage Baseball Game set for June 17th at Glen Cove City Stadium," added Panzenbeck. "Two fun events that celebrate our city’s assets – great food, game play and the waterfront!”

The "Sip Into Summer" festival is supported by sponsors Deep Roots Farmer’s Market; Eastern Star Cruises; RXR, Allstate; TAVA Indian Cuisine and many others. Additional businesses, professionals and businesses can participate by contacting the City at 516-676-2004.

The menu for the evening includes Sid’s All American Burger, Zozzo’s Pizza, Knot of This World Pretzels and Lenny’s Twisty Freeze Ice Cream along with DJ music, roaming entertainment, raffles, a 50/50 and the best waterfront sunset. Admission is free with food and beverages available for purchase.
