Locust Valley, North Shore Approve School Budgets; Fox, Tomlinson Elected

The Locust Valley and North School Districts held their School Board elections and budget votes on May 20th, and the results are in:

 

The North School District Budget was approved by a vote of 1,657 Yes to 697 No.

 

There were four Candidates for North School Board, who ran unopposed for the four open seats. 

 

Elected are Lisa Cashman 1665 votes; James Svendsen 1543 votes; Jessica Dillon 1541 votes and Brian Hanley 1534 votes.

 

The Locust Valley School District Budget was approved by a vote of 731 Yes to 530 No.

 

There were two candidates for Locust Valley School Board, who ran unopposed.

 

Elected are Lindsay Fox 883 votes; and Krystina Tomlinson 894 votes.

 

In addition, Locust Valley held two votes: Proposition 2: Capital Reserve Withdrawal, which passed by a vote of Yes 823 votes to No 417 votes; and Proposition 3: Locust Valley Library Tax Levy, which passed by a vote of Yes 424 votes to No 177 votes.
