A 32-year-old disabled Oyster Bay woman has gone missing, and a dragnet of police search and rescue, helicopter searches, police dog and bloodhound search units, local fire departments, and neighborhood patrols have been searching for her.

Missing is Brittany Kritis-Garip who was last seen at about 8PM on Friday, March 20th at the intersection of Ivy Street and Jordan Avenue, just off Berry Hill Road in Oyster Bay.

Brittany's family has put out a series of "Missing" posters and flyers, and posted their calls for help on social media.

The family indicate that Brittany has some sort of mental condition and was in "a state of psychosis" when she went missing. They cautioned that Brittany's condition might cause her to be fearful of strange people.

At least one family friend posted on social media indicating that Brittany might have been "off her medications."

Local police and fire departments have conducted extensive searches of the Oyster Bay and East Norwich areas - and the adjacent nature preserves - in search of Brittany.

Police have gathered ring camera footage, which according to one police source, shows Brittany walking by in dark clothing - and shortly thereafter a man getting out of a van near where she was walking, looking around, and then driving off.

Brittany's family asks anyone - with any information - to call police immediately at 911 - or to call family members.
