School Board Endorsements: COLD SPRING HARBOR

Oyster Bay-East Norwich and Cold Spring Harbor schools have led not just Long Island, but the entire country as excellent school districts.

That is no accident.  It came from smart, tough, and visionary school boards, who made the tough and nurturing decisions, and managed to excellence.

There are contested elections in both the OBEN and CSH school districts. The election is this Tuesday, May 19th.

Cold Spring Harbor (CSH) schools have flourished under DelliCarpini, Smith and Wollman.

From the new universal Pre-K programs, to the emphasis on science, math and technology, to the renewed respect for history with events like the WW2 Remembrance Bowl (featuring Gen George Patton's granddaughter) at Homecoming; to the massively improved AP scores; to the amazing, hyper-competent clean-up and re-opening of the West Side School after the fire in March - this CSH school board is literally amazing.

Incumbent school board members Kate DelliCarpini, Lisa Smith and Bill Wollman have done an outstanding job - and deserve our support and re-election.
