By Ishan Shah

Fox News and media celebrity Sean Hannity has just sold his waterfront Centre Island estate for $12.7 million.

The property was first listed on May 2nd for $13.75 Million – consisting of 10,674 square feet, colonial-style home built in 2005.

The home went into contract just a week later, on May 9th - for $12.7 million - and was closed on June 7th.

The buyer of this home is a proud Long Island resident and is in the process of moving in.

Hannity put “millions into this house”– for renovations including building "a 3 hole golf course with sand traps, putting greens, and tee boxes, " according to Hannity's real estate broker.

The access to Oyster Bay harbor the sound and ultimate docking capabilities of the property were major selling points for the house. The new owner is said to be a “Boater” according to the broker.

"There are few homes on Centre Island that have a 'spud barge.'” noted the broker, adding that "the estate is well equipped with 500 feet of bay frontage, and an 81 foot private dock."

In addition to the golf course, the estate has a swimming pool, a tennis court, a pickleball court, and the luxurious amenities of the house.

Hannity moved to Centre Island in 2005, relocating from his prior home in Lloyd Harbor.

"Sean was always a gentleman and good neighbor," added Judge Ute Lally, his neighbor on Centre Island. "We will miss him, and wish him the best of luck in his new home in Florida."
