By Maureen Daly
Huntington Supervisor Chad Lupinacci and Deputy Supervisor Ed Smyth announced that the Town will be opening a new spray park, set to open in Spring 2022. The spray park will be at Manor Field Park in Huntington Station.
This will be the second spray park in Huntington. The other spray park is Sgt Paul Tuozullo Memorial Park at Elwood Park, and was opened in 2019.
"In the spring of 2022, the children of Huntington Station will have this first-class spray park in their backyard," stated Smyth. "We will also have along a brand-new playground and new turf field that athletes of all ages can enjoy."
"The Manor Field Spray Park along with the new amenities we have coming soon are exciting steps in our plan to revitalize Huntington Station," added Lupinacci.
Construction on the new playground and the new Manor Field Spray Park is set to start in the coming weeks and will take approximately two months to complete.
